Mobile Felony And Misdemeanor Lawyer

Just because you have been charged with a crime, it doesn’t mean you should stop fighting. I am attorney Leslie McElderry, and I will aggressively defend your rights. I provide strong, skillful representation for clients facing criminal and traffic charges throughout Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Traffic Law

Some violations do not require representation by a lawyer — but if you already have points against your license, have a CDL or are having trouble clearing a suspension, I may be able to help you. If your ticket requires a court appearance, call me at 251-623-7818 to discuss your options. You can decide for yourself if you want to handle it alone.

If you live out of state and received a traffic ticket or DUI charge in Mobile County or Baldwin County, you may not be familiar with Alabama traffic law and may need the help of someone with local knowledge. If you have a relatively clean record and your ticket is for a qualifying violation, you may be eligible to clear your ticket by going to traffic school. I will go to court on your behalf, saving you the hassle and expense of traveling back to Alabama.

Criminal Law

I am not the judge; I represent you. I represent clients charged with misdemeanors or felonies, and I will work with you, your family or your probation officer to help you reach the best outcome possible. I provide defense for a variety of criminal charges, including (but not limited to):

  • Theft
  • Drug charges
  • Gun charges
  • Domestic disputes
  • Alcohol charges

You may qualify for drug court or pretrial intervention. If you successfully complete one of these programs, your charges will be dismissed. I can help you apply for acceptance into one of these programs. Call me at 251-623-7818 to see if you qualify.
